Feel free to come up with your own scenarios, but if you're stuck on what to do, these prompts might help!

1. THE LEGIT REPUBLIC OF BLANKETSBURG - The dormitory halls are where you will be sleeping, so make yourself at home. You might have roommate problems, though. Check out your crazy neighbors! Try on your new robes! Do some exploring?
2. ANIME HOGWARTS - Pay attention! You wouldn't want to take remedial classes, would you? Maybe that mishap of an explosion you made might snap you out of your daze. Maybe you forgot your homework. Maybe you are taking notes, and you're shaking your head at the dunce who can't even name the eight types of Rukh.
3. LET'S GET PHYSICAL - Oh, you got Instructor Myers too. You poor thing. Better catch up with your running partner or you might get the whip! Running fifty or so laps around the academy can't be so bad... You might even run into someone new.
4. TEXTS FROM LAST NIGHT - Oops. You contacted the wrong person through your Rukh's Eye, or sent that letter to the wrong PO box... how do you deal?
5. I CAN SHOW YOU THE WORLD - Take your friends wonder by wonder, over, sideways and under on a magic carpet ride around the city. Or maybe you're the one who needs a lift - how did you get yourself stuck in a floating building!? You better figure out how to get down before your next class.
6. ELIZABEEEEETH - You're at a bar or a club in the city! Maybe you brought a friend to cheer them up or you're here to bring someone back home. Are you causing a scene? Popular with the ladies? Or were you fortunate enough to get the most beautiful girl in Magnoshutatt?
7. HELL WEEK - Exams? Papers? Presentations? Homework? MORE PAPERS? You're never going to finish this in time, are you?
8. GIRL, I JUST HAD A VISION - Fortune tellers that can see the past, present and future through various magical methods are all over the place - it's not too hard to look for one to consult. You can try this yourself if you want to, but are you sure it will work?
9. IT'S TIME TO D-D-D-DUEL - You're a first kodor and the higher-ups have arranged a magic duel for you to participate in before you can be admitted to your second year in Magnoshutatt Academy. Or, hell, you could be fighting with a fellow student outside classes right now.
10. LUNCH - Did you know that food in Magnoshutatt is magically grown? It's healthy, we promise. Be it the dining hall at the Academy or the restaurants in the lower districts, you're sure to find a filling meal. No one ever starves in Magnoshutatt!
11. THE SWEET LIFE - In Magnoshutatt, magicians are treated like kings! Go ahead and enjoy shopping in the 3rd and 4th districts as much as you can. But somehow, if one is perceptive enough, this doesn't feel right. Aren't these non-magicians too submissive?

( There's a pink haired cleric waiting in line nearby to get on a magic carpet. She's holding her staff tightly and the expression on her face is torn between excitement and concern. Is this thing safe? It looks questionable to her. She'll turn to Billy, )

You there! ( What a haughty tone. ) What are you doing just standing there? Can't you see me? Are you truly going to allow a noblewoman such as myself to ride one of these. . . things unescorted?

( Huff. )

[repeats]

[Billy is kind of his own little world, but he snaps out of it when he hears some girl talking to him. He's more confused than anything. What's her deal? There really are some strange people here.]

What? [Say what again. I dare you!! Oh, then he looks around and sees the magic carpet.] It's not that hard to ride them once you get the hang of it. [he gets on the magic carpet, hovering a few feet above the air. he extends his hand to help her up.] I'll show you, come on.

[outspoken]

( Her deal is that she's been kidnapped into another world and is probably being held for an extremely expensive ransom and her kidnappers aren't adequately caring for her wellbeing!

She raises a brow and looks offended, )

Are you implying I'm afraid? The nerve! I'll have you know, I've seen much more terrible and frightful things than flying tapestries and broomsticks. Why! I was only insisting you behave like a proper gentleman and escort a lonely, defenseless cleric like myself just in case. After all, what if I were kidnapped by another foul villain? If something happened to me, there would be a heavy price to pay when Lord Hector finds out!

( She'll eye his hand as if checking it for a hidden weapon of some sort, )

Mhmm... much better. I suppose this will do for now. ( Accepting his hand and stepping as cautiously as she can onto the carpet. ) Now, take me to the market.

[repeats]

[Well this reminds him of those arrogant preppy girls in high school times ten. He's not going to let himself get treated like that. He can see through her words, though, she he's not going to be too harsh. HE side eyes her comments.]

More like it's something most people aren't used to using, and if you're here, you can't be that defenseless. If you stay where the school permits you, you'll be fine.

[ah, that demand. while the carpet starts to move, he doesn't like her tone.] I have a name, you know. It's Billy, and I'm no servant. I'm going to teach you how to use this so you can do it on your own in the future, so watch carefully.

[outspoken]

( Yeah, that's pretty accurate on the surface, oops. )

Oh? Are you implying just because everyone here can use magic, they're able to defend for themselves? ( She raises her chin up high. ) There are different types of magic, you know and not all forms are fit for self-defense.

Why! Some magic is supportive. Of course, that doesn't make it useless! Not at all. In fact, it's very useful--

( Oh, St. Elimine, the carpet is moving and it silences her long enough for her to listen to Billy. )

[ How did he get into this situation again? First, he never expected to get to first kodor, all things considered. Maybe that club helped after all... Second, isn't this guy crazy strong!? No, those are just rumors. Still, a previous magic user would definitely be more experienced that one who didn't have magic powers to begin with.

The grip on his sword is tight, but his knees are shaking.

NO! HE HAS TO LOOK COOL!!! ]

Uh, may the best man win.

[ That wasn't cool. ]

[He isn't exactly surprised at how well he's doing here. While magic is different here, it has very familiar aspects he's used to. He misses some of his original powers, but still, it's better than losing all his powers (ty doctor doom for that mind trick).

He steps forward, looking rather collected. So like, this is basically some weird form of magic school dueling. It'd be nice to win, but he's not going to underestimate who he's up against. He knows there are some people here who are also familiar with magic. All he can tell is the poor guy looks nervous as hell.

Billy extends his hand, smiling.] Got it. Best of luck to you.

[ Blink, blink. A smile tugs at the corner of his mouth. Ack! Although the rumors about Billy make Yuuta anxious, his sportsmanship makes him too radiant to shy away from! Even if he loses, Yuuta has a feeling that they can shake hands on it and respect each other's abilities. He can feel the beginnings of male friendship right here... Let's just hope he doesn't get his ass handed to him.

He takes his hand and gives it a firm shake. ]

[ That wasn't so bad. Once they get into position, the magician presiding over the match announces the names of the students in the arena - on his left, Billy Kaplan, and one his right, Yuuta Togashi. On his signal, the battle commences!

Yuuta raises his sword and plunges it into the ground in preparation for his first spell, but that might have bought Billy more than enough time for his own first move. ]

[That seems to have eased the other's nerves. There's no point in having a friendly battle of skills if the other isn't up to par. When he hears his name said, he's already thinking of various spells. Should he be offensive or defensive? When he was younger he would have gone on the offense, but the whole super hero thing has taught him a thing or two about fighting... but he wanted to have fun, too.

It's a tough call, but he'll go defensive first. He's hovering above the ground by a few inches, a barrier protecting him. He'll get a feel for the other's style and then strike when he sees an opening.]

[ The sword, now surrounded in magoi, plunges deep into the ground. Several columns of fire spout from the earth right after - and they're headed toward Billy! Oh man, this is the first time he's ever said a spell out loud in an actual battle. This is pretty exciting!! Be still, his chuunibyou heart. ]
